My husband, myself, nanny and 18 month old will be going to Cuba in December. I have done lots of research on family oriented resorts and have come up with 3 options:

Paradisus Veradero
El Senador Cayo Coco
Tryp Cayo Coco

They all seem to look fine in the brochures and each one of them has fabulous and horrendous feedback in many websites (grain of salt). Ideally I'd like to find a suite with a separate bedroom or livingroom instead of having to get 2 rooms. We would like an upscale hotel and have low expectations of the food - as long as we can find something to eat. A great beach and pool with kids pool is important. Additional kids facilities like a playground would be good too.

Thanks in advance for any advice on these or other resorts that would fit the bill.

ps - any advice on weather at this time of year would be helpful as well.
