Need a Good Restaurant for a Thank You Dinner in Old San Juan

Jump to last reply

A friend is basically hosting me on a cruise out of Old San Juan next week and I want to do our traditional thanks with a nice dinner and evening before we sail. It will be on Friday evening and it should be noted this is a guy's evening, not romantic.

I hope someone will have a suggestion for a nice place with good (great?) food and maybe some sort of entertainment in Old San Juan or fairly close by. Not looking for uber expensive but am willing to pay what it takes for an enjoyable, convivial evening. We are not young guys so loud rock placers would not be appreciated ... nor would an opera-themed place. But most anything in between would be enjoyed. An example of a place we liked is that flamenco dancing restaurant in Hollywood, Florida which was pretty much perfect (although at the edge of too loud!).

Suggestions?
