Mustique Blues Festival expands to Bequia, St. Vincent

The annual Mustique Blues Festival that is sponsored by Basil's Bar in Mustique has expanded to Bequia and St. Vincent. On Jan. 29 the venue was the Aquatic Club in St. Vincent and last night the venue was the Plantation House in Bequia. I was at the show last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were acts with Vincentian roots but the stars of the show were Dana Gillespie (vocals) and Big Jay (saxophone). It was a treat. Great music in an outdoor environment and the crowd was very receptive. I think a great time was had by all.
