MUST DO ACTIVITY / ATTRACTION IN ARUBA! DO NOT MISS STREA CHARTERS!!
This is our fourth time in Aruba. Our experience was so fantastic that am writing this review the same day while in my hotel room rather than waiting to get home.
John and Esther are the owners and hosts of this experience. Right from the beginning they had put us at ease being a child friendly charter. Having our one year old with us, we really didn't want to go on a boat trip where everyone was drinking them selves silly and falling all over each other.
As luck would have it, we were the only ones who booked this fantastic cruise this morning so we had the entire vessel to ourselves. They decided to bring along their 15 month old daughter to entertain our son. They hit it off fabulously. We brought our cameras, towels and sunscreen. John navigated to a beautiful area filled with coral. Most tours just take you to a spot and drop you off saying you have 15 minutes or 30 minutes before we leave. Not this one. John moored the boat and personally took my son and I on a snorkel tour. He lead and we followed, great aerobic workout if you want one.
When we got back on the boat, Esther had prepared a lovely lunch with crabmeat, tuna and chicken salad sandwiches. They also provided us with ice cold Balashi beer and rum& cokes.
On the way back to the port, John was thoughtful enough to ask if we wanted to be under an airplane as it landed, we all nodded. He slowed the boat as it approached under where the airplanes land at the airport. Just then a giant jet approached and flew overhead with a huge roar. Seemed like we were only feet under it as it was landing. What a rush!
Anyway, We couldn't say anymore about what a great experience and super friendly people these are. We liked them so much, we invited them for dinner.

Would you post their website or contact information? It sound like fun! Would you be willing to tell us how much it costs per person and some more details about the logistics like where they depart from and where they drop you off and how long is the cruise?

I am not sure what the spot we snorkeled was called, but we preferred just the one stop because of the baby and all. The name of the company is STREA CHARTERS www.streacharters.com .The owners are John and Esther Pezij. We paid $70 per person for the morning tour. It was about4 hours (I think). The boat departs from behind the Paddock in the center of town. Hope this is helpful.
