MONTEGO BAY - WHARF HOUSE VILLA: BEACH/NOISE ISSUES?

We are a family of four (with two kids under 6 years old) planning our first trip to Jamaica in February. We are hoping for a low key, family vacation. We are considering renting the Wharf House Villa (apparently it is off the A1, 5 mi (8 km) west of Montego Bay city center). The villa has a small beach. Our kids would be more likely to spend most of the time on a beach than in a pool, so we are wondering about the quality of the beach as it is difficult to tell from the photos. Also, it looks like the villa may be close to a main road and we are wondering whether the street noise will be an issue. The villa has received positive reviews but these are mainly from the villa rental agency websites. Has anyone had any experience with this villa or generally, with the beaches and potential for street noise in this area of Montego Bay? Thanks!
