Hi everyone!
My husband and I would like to go back to Antigua...we were there for a one day stopover and went on a catamaran trip but due to an unfortunate accident we had to return to our boat.
We want to go back to Antigua as we didn't get to experience Antigua at all! What should we do and where should we go if we were to vacation there or we didn't miss anything at all on antigua...should I consider other islands instead....vacationned in St. Maarten/Martin, seen St. Thomas, St. lucia, Guadeloupe (spelling?), Barbados, cuba, dominican republic, Martinique, Puerto rico, saba, St. Barths (for me this island is boring however maybe I didn't go to the right areas...advise?).
MISSED OUT ON ANTIGUA DUE TO ACCIDENT!

Antigua is a neat island, especially if you love history. My husband is a big history buff, and he really enjoyed seeing all of the old British forts and English Harbour area. The beaches are absolutely wonderful (powdery sand and turquoise water), and there are lots of good restaurants to try. For more info, go to www.antigua-barbuda.org.
I have vacationed in Antigua for last several years and love it! I stay at a small friendly apartment hotel on Runaway Bay, rent a car, and travel the island. Don't go all-inclusive, because you will stay in your hotel and not see the island - waste of money. There is so much to do and a huge choice of great restaurants to go to.
