Mid-level quiet luxury

Planning a trip just for a few days in Dec. Have stayed in RWI in the past and while the price was right it was kind of generic, nothing special.
I would like to be in a more luxurious place this time but not quite the Amanpuri $1400/night rates.
I just want quiet pampering, a la Cap Juluca. Seven Stars? Seems to have great rates now - but is it worth $750 for a ocean view studio in early Dec? I am not into the showy Palms scene.
parrot Cay? Somerset?
Would love some help

the somerset is just what you're looking for. or you might look at turks & caicos club.
type blamona into the search box and highlight t& c on the scroll. she has stayed in virtually every provo resort and has reviews of each.
ps. amanpuri is in phuket amanyara is on provo. and in my opinion not worth the money as the location is quite remote and away from grace bay beach.

For an amazing experience I would suggest The Somerset. It is very classy and has wonderful suites.
The entire property is well cared for and has a very nice tone for a relaxing vacation. We have stayed there before and are returning for another stay in a few short weeks.

If not The Somerset, check out Turks and Caicos Club,West Bay Club, Villa Rennaisance or Regent Grand- all are nice properties that are all a bit different.

We are taking our 5th trip to Provo later this year. We've never heard of the West Bay Club, where is it located? We always stay at RWI, renting an oceanfront condo from a private owner. It's a beautiful condo with all the amenities at a very reasonable price compared to some of the other resorts. We have visited all of the resorts you have mentioned and the two that stand out to us are the Somerset and Regent Grand. The Somerset has a great infinity pool as well as an excellent restaurant and wait staff. I don't think the Regent Grand has a restaurant onsite, but I maybe mistaken. Another beautiful property is The Tuscany, but they don't have a restaurant onsite if that's something you are looking for.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am getting ready to book the Somerset. Is the $200 a night difference for English cottage suite vs ocean view suite worth it?

Have personally stayed in both the cottages and the Sterling Building.
So, it is hard to say what you would desire for your extra costs.
Personally, we spend most of the day at the beach and then later in the day the pool- so we do not sit in our room and look out from the terrace much. Either accomodation category would be nice. We actually find the Cottages to be more spacious and love the vaulted ceilings in the second level cottages and the view of the gardens is really nice too.
