March Break Snorkeling Adventure with Family
Happy New Year Everyone.
I am currently researching best places to go for snorkeling right off the beach. My husband is also a diver. My son is 11 and very athletic but also likes to play pool, chess, and ping pong, beach volleyball, etc. since he is an only child we like to mix things up a bit ... he will NOT go to a kids club, he is very shy. We would prefer an all-inclusive. Budget is approximately $9,000-12,000. Would like to go for 10 days if possible because we are flying from Vancouver, BC which isn't close to anything!! I have been to the Mayan Riviera a dozen times and would prefer something different ... ie/ Turks, Antigua, Roatan, Grand Cayman, bahamas ... and any other recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Snorkeling is HUGE for us ... I'd say that is the #1 priority as well as entertainment for the boy.
Thank you so much for your input!! I'm seriously pulling my hair out trying to decide.

All resorts should be filled with kids over easter break. If not all inclusive, a larger resort with water sports would be a good bet. Grand cayman is a great island for off shore snorkeling! The Marriott was small there, but there is a Westin, Hyatt and a Ritz that are larger scale resorts.
Never been, but Beaches at Turks Caicos is a family all inclusive resort.

There are few all inclusive resorts on Grand Cayman. The Comfort Suites is a good family friendly resort located centrally to most everything you need. They have free breakfast daily.
You will love the snorkeling. Here's a site where you can have a look at the different sites.
