My wife and I are going to PR in early April. We are spending 4 days in Old San Juan and want to spend 4 days somewhere in Rio grande, luquillo, or fajardo. We are not looking for the resort experience, but do want somewhere we can relax on the beach or near a pool for a bit. We are looking at luquillo sunrise beach inn, luquillo. I have two specific questions regarding that property for anyone who has stayed there. Is it within walking distance of playa azul or the famous luquillo beach? Also, is there enough food/drink options for two people who really enjoy the dining aspect of vacationing?
I am also looking for other suggestions of where to stay in the three counties/States(?) mentioned above. Thanks in advance.
luquillo, rio grande, or fajardo

Hi,
My husband and I just returned from 4 days in Puerto Rico. we stayed in Rio Grande, had a rental car so we explored alot. Haven't done my trip eport yet,, but can tell you that Luquillo Beach is by far the nicest. Would have it posted by tomorrow. Look for it.
