Looking for the perfect Island in the Carribean
My husband and I want to vacation in the Caribbean sometime in June., but we don't know what island would be best. We are looking into islands that we can visit without a passport(US citizens, although any other suggestions are welcomed), that has a lot of beaches or beaches that aren't so CROWDED,(I don't just want to pick an Island by the pictures and get there and it's nothing like the serene pictures), calm clear waters with white sand, we are not looking to shop, but sightseeing is welcomed, and perhaps offers a few activities? I would really appreciate any info from people who have vacationed there, thank you!

If you are looking to go without a passport, your options are Puerto Rico and the USVI (St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix). All of them have beautiful beaches, but the issue of crowding varies.
St. Thomas will be the most crowded of the USVI. I haven't been to St. Croix recently enough to offer an opinion, but I know it's less crowded that St. Thomas.
St. John offers a conundrum. The beaches are stunning, and part of national park ... BUT, while there are relatively few overnight visitors to St. John, there are TONS of day visitors who are shuttled in from cruise ships arriving in St. Thomas, and the more popular (and, alas, the most beautiful) of the north shore beaches are crowded from about 10:30 to 3:30 every day. When we visited, we found ourselves going off-road to the less lovely, but less visited beaches to get away from that scene.
Puerto Rico offers a lot of beaches, and you can probably find some that are less visited, but your best bet is to make the effort to get to Vieques and Culebra (small islands east of the main island). Unless you go on a day excursion, you probably can't get to the most beautiful of the islands (Culebrita), but Vieques and Culebra offer plenty of diversion for a beach lover seeking solitude. There are puddle jumpers from San Juan, and ferries from Fajardo, which will get you to these so-called "Spanish Virgin Islands."

The cruise ships are mostly gone in June, only a handful call each week. There will be weddings and graduation trips, but it won't be half as busy as it is in February. It is only a 15 minute ferry ride between St Thomas and St John...
