My fiance and I are looking for a good place to take our honeymoon in late October/early November. Things that are important to us include: beautiful beaches, fun shops/restaurants to explore, and preferably a place that isn't extremely crowded or loud. We are looking for a peaceful honeymoon and don't care about any sort of nightlife or partying scene. Places we have considered are BVI, USVI, Cayman Islands, and Antigua. Could anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks!
Oh, and our budget for a 10 day stay is around $4,000.

October is Low Season in the Caribbean so it's doubtful you'll encounter any crowds no matter where you go. Because it's off season you may find some resorts and restaurants will be closed or operating with reduced staffs and n the case of restaurants may be closed a few days each week. Also, all of the destinations on your list are noted for having "beautiful beaches".
You'll find lots of shopping on St. Thomas (USVI's) and a somewhat lesser amount (but still plenty) on Grand Cayman. St. John (USVI's) has only a few shops while St. Croix (also in the USVI's) has more shopping than St. john but less than St. Thomas. You won't find very much shopping in the BVI's aside from Roadtown on Tortola which has some but not a lo or shopping. There are some shops on Antigua but it's not considered a shopping destination.
Since October is "Low Season" you'll find some of the lowest room prices of the year on all the islands on your list. You should have no difficulty finding several places on each island in your $4,000 budget range (assuming that budget is just for your accommodations and does not include airfare).
I enjoyed reading this and i think that $4000 is also affordable price.
