Late March/Bermuda or Amelia Island/Can't Choose
Need help in making plans. We are considering either The Reefs in Bermuda or the Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island the last week of March. I'm not sure how much of a weather difference there is between the two. Has anyone stayed at either place? Am aware that Bermuda's weather at that time won't exceed 70 (so I've been told). Just wondering which place has the nicer ambiance. This is a 60th birthday so we'd like the experience to feel special. Would love some input.

You can find "average" weather statistics for Bermuda and Amelia (use Jacksonville or Jacksonville Beach) at www.weatherbase.com. If you want more detailed weather data go to www.wunderground.com. For what it is worth, both destination can be a bit cool in march.

I've been to both - they are significantly different from one another. You can find 600+ reviews for The Reefs and 900+ reviews for the Ritz Carlton on Tripadvisor. Just about everything that has been written about each hotel can be found there.
