I am planning a late September/early October honeymoon and am considering Grenada as a destination. Can anyone describe the differences between LaLuna and Spice Island with regard to location, activities, quality of the beach, quality of service, accessability, etc. Also, has anyone gone in the off-season and found that amenities were unavailable and/or prime restaurants closed?

We have travelled to Grenada for many years in both high and low season and have never found a difference in services. We actually prefer low season as there are fewer tourists. Spice Island is on Grand Anse beach -- a beautiful two mile stretch with other hotels. La Luna is on a smaller but very beautiful beach with only one other restaurant. La Luna is a bit more isolated but not far by cab. Can't tell you about activities as we have not stayed at either.
