Trip Report King Sugar in St. Kitts

Jump to last reply

I went down to St. Kitts in mid-December, the week before Christmas. I didn't have high expectations for the island, but I came away with a serious appreciation for the Kittians, who have a history rooted in the sugar cane trade that is tragic, heart-breaking and ultimately, triumphant. While the country is still finding its sea legs as far as tourism goes, I found the people to be genuinely friendly and helpful, and very proud of how far their country has come.

Report with photos on my blog. Happy to answer any questions!

Chris
