Just curious - has anyone "won" a Valentines Resort auction on skyauction?

I won one and I'm going in May. It seems like as soon as one auction for Valentines Resort ends, another one begins. I'm curious to know if any other fodorites have bid and won.

It seems like the whole resort will be filled by skyauction winners!

Every day since I "won" my auction, I
have seen Valentines Resort offered on skyauction.com.
I wonder if there are going to be any regular paying guests staying there in 2010, or if everyone got their stay thru skyauction!

Just like cashing in ff miles, there are limited number rooms that are auctioned off. They have the limited rooms throughout the year, so you'll always see the same properties over and over, but once someone "won" and was approved for a particular time slot, then the next winner can't book the same week. Trust me, you got an excellent price for a gorgeous property. There will be regular paying guests there, and possibly some owners.

Yes you got a GREAT deal. I was told that tourism is really down bigtime on Harbour Island, so I'm sure that is why Valentine's is offering such a great deal. If I could do it I sure would. Runaway's prices are ALOT higher which is where I usually stay, but have not been down since the new owner.
