Just booked first T&C Vacation / Restaurant Recs on South Side of Island

I just booked my first Turks & Caicos vacation, and my family and I ended up booking the most gorgeous villa on the south side of the island. Does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants or fun activities that we can do while there? We are going in December 2012.

By the way - if anyone needs help booking a villa (or hotel), I would definitely use Turks and Caicos Reservations (TCR) - I had such a great experience with them. This year will be my first year in Turks and Caicos, so I was overwhelmed by the options of booking in a hotel vs. villa. TCR was always so nice and helpful, and even spent a couple of hours over the phone to discuss the different areas of the island with me. I never felt like they were selling me something, and they were careful to keep me within my budget and send me hotel and villa options that closely matched my needs. Most importantly, they were incredibly patient. The best part is that TCR offers rewards for booking with them, in my case a portion of our car rental was paid for by them. I look forward to continue working with them in booking activities and dinner reservations. I definitely recommend using them to make the process less overwhelming, as they were incredibly informative (makes sense after all they live there year round!), and have a great selection of properties and hotels at the best available rate. I’m excited to pass on this island secret because I heard about TCR after reading about it in a review myself. :)
