There is the YS Falls, Mayfield Falls, Black River, Appleton Rum Factory and Pelican Bar. You will need to either hire a private driver to take you to these locations or go on your resort's sponsored tours.
The YS Falls, Black River and Appleton Rum is a full day (very long) tour. Those attractions are many miles away from Negril and it takes a full day to get to them all and back.
The Pelican Bar is out in the middle of the water, so you have to have someone take you by boat to get there.
JTL Tours is the local tour operator for all areas of Jamaica.

Their web-site will give you a good example of what is offered there. Realize though, that Jamaica is not the type of destination that you can just walk off your resort and/or rent a car and go do things on your own. Negril is kinda secluded and most attractions are pretty far away. If you do not want to use a tour operator, there are several private drivers you can hire. You can google for recommendations or use the search feature here.
We also went to Margaritaville, Rick's Cafe and the Craft Market by our hotel's taxi. The driver stayed with us until we were done or we arranged for a specific time for him to be back to pick us up.
Thanks for weighing in, Bob, but do you have a preference? I'm leaning towards green at the moment.
I've never done any formal activities or tours in 3 trips to Negril over the years. I just hang out on the Cliffs, take the route taxi around, shop at Hi-Lo, hit an internet cafe, hang out on the beach, walk the West End road, have lots of nice meals, watch sunset, etc.
