Jamaica - moBay vs Negril vs ochos rios

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are planning a trip to Jamaica in late May and we're undecided on where to stay. We're in our mid 30's and want a mix of relaxation with some nightlife. A hotel with spa and beachfront are a must! We're thinking of Negril because I hear its the best beach. Went to MoBay about 15 years ago and I remember the beach being rocky, is this still the case? But I also want to go to Dunns River Falls, and I believe this may be out of the question, being a 4 hour drive from Negril. I also want to be able to snorkel, horseback ride, atv, or zipline.

I'm also confused as to where to stay, both the Couples Swept Away and the Sandals resorts have so many mixed reviews that my head is spinning!!! Budget is between $3500 and $4k including flights from west coast. Can anyone give me some insight about the different cities and what you think are the pros/cons of each please?

Thank You
