Island Similar to St Kitts

I just came back from my first trip to St Kitts & Nevis and absolutely loved it. I promise to post a trip report soon! Can any of you recommend another island similar to St Kitts in terms of it being undeveloped, having great island food, wonderful friendly locals, and great beaches? I'd like to plan next years trip!!!! Thanks.

Yes, Grenada sounds like a good choice. You could also look at Antigua. It's a little more developed than St. Kitts but does have some excellent beaches and good restaurants.

Palm Island in the Grenadines is absolutely worth looking into. There are no locals to interact with, except staff, due to it being a private island. But, you can always take their boat over to Union Island if you want to mingle a little more. It is an AI as there is little else on the island except for a few private homes. The food is great, including great burgers at lunch. The beaches are the best I've ever seen. Being there is the only time in my life I have avoided the pool and sat out out on the beach with a pepsi or tropical drink and just enjoyed! The views are every bit as incredible as the beach. The beach cottages are awesome, as well.

I agree with those who suggested Grenada. I liked St. Kitts, but Grenada is one of my favorite destinations. It offers great food & accommodations in every price range at a very good value, and the beaches will blow most of St. Kitts' away! The only downside is that it takes more effort to get there, but if you're like mymoosie and me, it's all worth it!

I completely agree with Grenada for 20 years Grenada was my hands down favorite... at the time St.Kitts was REALLY quiet...but after a trip to SKB three years ago I discovered my heart has room for two islands....so the counter part to your St.Kitts is quite possibly Grenada...although a different island, very similar in fundamental ways.

Grenada is lush and breathtaking, the people are profoundly kind and lovely, beautiful beaches, great culture and great sense of safety!
