Island advice plz!

Hi everyone. My friends and I are wanting to go to an all inclusive resort in October. I am hoping you can help me. I am looking for a place where the resort is beachfront and preferably but not limited to being adults only. It's important that its close to a town or area similar to 5th Avenue in Playa Del Carmen or the entertainment district in Cancun. We're not crazy party goers but it'd be nice to have shopping and local bars within walking distance. Also if you know of any resorts that do bonfires and/or fish fry like in Freeport, that would be an added bonuses :) I wanna go somewhere I haven't been before but hoping to still experience some of the things I've enjoyed on past vacations. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
