Thinking of visiting this Feb. with a 2 year old. Heard that La Cabana is a great family destination with activities for children.
Any feedback you have would be appreciated.
Is Aruba a Good Family Destination? Also would like feedback on La Cabana Resort.

Went last March and stayed at la Cabana, just me and my husband but almost wished we had brought the kids as there were kids everywhere and lots of activities. My children are 8 and 3 and I wouldn't hesitate to take them to Aruba, it is safe, clean, friendly. A bit too Americanized for me but great for kids who like Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Outback Steakhouse etc. If your two year old likes the beach and pool he/she will have a great time. Good condo-style accomodations, stay in the front rather than the villas if you want an oceanview. There is a small service road between the resort and the beach but it is not a problem and does not interfere with the view and was not a problem. Don't get the all-inclusive, the food is not that good, rent a car so you can explore and try restaurants and get "Happy Meal" type food. You can stock up at the grocery store. Get a passport if you can, it is much easier, especially with a child. E-mail me with more ?'s
