We are travelling on 1st May 2 days at the Plaza and 10 days in Las Brisas. Has anyone any info on these hotels. Also in Havana a good place to eat and drink please. My husband is not a good flyer, are the internal flights OK. I have heard that the beach in Guardalavaca isn't the best? Is this true? If so is there a nicer one nearby.

The Las Brisas is a luxurious hotel, with beautiful swimming pool (some people spent most of the day there, between the deck chairs and the swim-up bar). Lots of food although some is different. I loved the fresh fruit always available, and some I didn't recognize. About the only thing I didn't like was that our room was on the ground floor facing to the back, so our only view was a palm tree and a stone wall! (oh well!) Sorry I can't help you about the internal flights, as we only took bus trips. Hope you have a great time!

Russian planes.They don't fall out of the sky every day.
Not sure where you might have heard the beach at Guardalavaca isn't so hot. Great swimming, snorkeling, & diving, and
valuable shade trees. That's at the public beach, about 1km from the Delta's man-made one. I've never tested it.
