I need your help planning my getaway!

As a 40 yro woman traveling alone I am trying to put together a 5-7 day trip in May to the Caribbean for what I want to call some much needed mind, body and soul healing!

I am looking for an island that can offer a hotel with plenty of peace and quiet. Of course a safe place for me to feel relaxed while I enjoy an amazing beach with a good book and delicious food is all I'm really asking on this trip. My budget is mid-range and I'd like to use my Delta miles for the flight from Atlanta so any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated for this journey.

Don't know about Delta miles, but look at the Sibonne on Turks & Caicos. It's as you described.

I would recommend Nevis. You can fly to St. Kitt's and either catch a puddle jumper or take the ferry over. A stay at Montpelier or Nisbet would work. Montpelier has great food and Nisbet is not far behind. And if you want accommodations less expensive, check out Oualie Beach.

There are a number of restaurants that are quite good. Pinney's beach is wonderful with a number of beach bars and restaurants. The Four Seasons is closed, but that does mean less crowds.

Nevis is very safe and Nevisians are some of the warmest, kindest people in the Caribbean.

On Turks & Caicos ( Airport code PLS) for Mid range look at the Sands on Grace Bay It has screened in porches, very good onsite casual restaurant, beautiful long beach to walk, sugar white sand, easily ( and safely) can walk to other resorts for great food. Also, the resort has a twice day shuttle to the IGA grocery for food/liquor.
The Sibonne as mentioned above is not mid range, it is a low end , old motel, it does have an excellent restaurant though.
We love The Somerset www.thesomerset.com if you want to check out the free night specials! Beautiful, elegant , 2 great restaurants, highend resort our new favorite place to stay anywhere!

provo is very safe.
i would not describe sibonne as a "low end , old motel"
it is one of the original grace bay beach resorts. it's really nice. i've not stayed there, preferring villas, but have walked through. it is clean, comfortable and on a good section of beach.
sands is a wonderful condo style resort, while somerset is very pricey w/fancy service.
you might also consider secret harbour beach resort on st. thomas. this is a very busy island, but i know you would feel comfortable at sh. i have traveled there as a single before. it's a condo style place, but has a really good restaurant w/ small beach bar. very nice beach w/good snorkeling. nearby grocery makes breakfast and lunch easy if you choose.

The Sibonne is not "low end" or "old motel". Yes, it is budget friendly because is is not luxurious and it's small, but it is clean and comfortable. Great for the peace and quiet you are looking for. I recommended this hotel to another poster who just returned and they loved it. Read their review. Get a second floor room. It is worth it. If your interested check out our pictures of the Sibonne at:

The Sands are condo units and very family friendly. There will be lots of kids there. It actually reminded us of a mini Beaches resort.

Sorry but, when I see plastic flowers in the lobby, white resin chairs and big hole filled with water in the parking lot and yes, it is a Motel and yes it is one of the oldest rentals on Grace Bay ...it fits what I said...sorry if I offened anyone but, I stand by my description!

I appreciate all your responses and it looks like the majority picked T&C for what I'm seeking. I will start looking into Provo today! Thank you all for your suggestions and honesty-
