I need help deciding where to go!

I would like to hear from someone that's been to Dominica or Montserrat. We are trying to decide between the two islands.
Montserrat would just be a day or two side trip. Can someone tell me what time it gets dark in June on those islands. How good is the snorkeling. On Dominica, would you recommend staying on one side of the island for part of a week and then moving to another to see the most of the island?
Thanks!

In June you can expect the sun to set around 6:30PM. You can get exact times at:

both islands are nice, although I am sure you are aware that Montserrat has been partially destroyed by the volcano.
I would definitely recommend Dominica. it is by far the most beautiful island in the Caribbean, IMHO.
For nature, it surpasses all.

I am headed to Dominica next month and staying at Beau Rive.

I'll be sure to post a trip report when I return.

Definitely Dominica. Montserrat is still trying to re-build after the volcano. Dominica is a beautiful place. Really stunning.

Thanks everyone. I know Montserrat had a volcanic eruption. That's part of what I thought would be neat to see, a still active volcano at their observatory.
