I loved Grace Bay, where else will I love? :)

I spent some time on the boards a month ago and then realized I needed to send my passport off for renewal. It's back and time to move forward with booking SOMETHING!

This is a trip for my mother and I. We visited Grace Bay Turks & Caicos two summers ago and stayed at the Seven Stars on a super deep discount (not our usual budget).

Loved the never-ending perfect beach (we like to just start walking and a lot of the islands don't seem to offer that openness), free kayaks, no pandering by vendors or locals on the beach, safe, there's not much to do but the restaurants are great. We're fine with not a lot to do. Family friendly is nice but if it means too much noise pool-side, nah. ;)

Newer or very nice accommodations (fine if it's a less touristy area to get nice accommodations - research on Cayman, St. Thomas, etc. look like everything under $400 is in questionable condition)... Prefer a resort to free-standing cottages due to feeling of security with my mother.

Budget is around $250 a night. I understand that can be low. We'd like to travel in July.

I love not having to rent a car. Seven Stars had a complimentary shuttle and was right across from grocery store. Something that's within walking distance of restaurants or activity with just a few needed taxi rides is great.

Since I'll be with my mother, I like to worry as little as possible, no big adventures, maybe a couple of off-shore excursions.

Her knees can be a problem so no cliff-side accommodations. We like to face the beach for mornings and evenings on a balcony.

I've been overwhelmed by researching caribbean but KNOW there has to be a comparative trip out there somewhere and no better place to ask than here.

I'm quite adventurous when with other people but feel responsible when I'm with her. :)

This is detailed but thanks to anyone who's loved Grace Bay and recommend something else. Even if you can't recommend accommodations on budget, let me know and I'll research.
