I hear that June 1-Nov 30 are hurricane season in the Carribean. Does this mean DO NOT GO to Aruba during this time?

Aruba is far below the hurricane belt. Go and enjoy! You have a better chance of NOT seeing one than you do.

We were in Aruba last September while Hurricane Lily passing just to the north in the Caribbean. The only effects of the storm in Aruba were a couple of 5-10 minute rain showers (but the sun was out for the rest of the day) and a little less wind than normal. The locals said that the hurricanes absorb a lot of the wind when they are passing by, but they rarely feel any real effects. It was slightly more warm than usual due to the lack of wind, but the weather was still great.

Don't worry about the weather... Just go and have a great time!
