Hi-
On the Four Seasons Nevis website it says the resort is closed until April 2009 due to hurricane damage.
Were other hotels on St. Kitts affected by hurricane damage? We were looking into hotels on St. Kitts and none of them seem to mention hurricane damage. Any comments/help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

The Four Seasons was the only Nevis hotel or inn that suffered major damage. Other places had no significant problems and all are open.
Also on Nevis, Chevy's Beach Bar was destroyed but will be rebuilding. Sunshine's next door is up-and-running as usual.
I have read that the Four Seasons is going to take the opportunity to refurbish their rooms so they may be closed even longer.
CW is correct, the Four Seasons was the only resort on Nevis or St. Kitts to suffer any damage from Hurricane Omar. They will be closed until at least April 30, maybe longer. Chevy's was the only beach bar on both island to close as a result of the storm but are rebuilding.
If you visit either island you'd be hard pressed to notice any residual damage from the storm (other than at the Four Seasons). Things have been "back to normal" for several weeks - everything is open.
Thanks for the informative replies!
