I think it is "grawn coss" but I do not claim to know for sure. I do know that there are many good dining options there no matter how you pronounce it!

"gra caz" is the closest I can explain it. Grand has a French nasal "a", which is hard to write with a regular keyboard.

Case is kaz and means shack.

Thanks. I speak French and was really just wondering if it is pronounced as French, given the multi-national, multi-lingual history of the Caribbean.

that's the best I can spell it phonetically.
it is not pronounced in an Americanized way.

I have heard an-gwill-a (short a sound at the end)while in the islands. In the US, I have heard AN-guia with no l sound. Hummmm

It Angeeya in French, Angwilla in English.

Conversely Anteega in English, Anteegwa if French.
