(I'm trying to save space in my suitcase!)

yes they do, but they do not have much power
In regards to hairdryers there is one other thing you should be cognisant of.
Electricity is a scarce comodity in Cuba as it is 100% generated by burning oil. Domestic oil supplies account for almost 90% of this, but there is also a demand for imported oil which of course affects the Cuban balance of payments on the international money markets.
How does this relate to your hairdryer question?
The Cubans at immigration/customs will not allow any High Consumption electric appliance into Cuba. This includes hair dryers, kettles, toasters, immersion heaters, and other resistance load devices, etc. If found on entry to the country, the customs dept will confiscate this. You will not get it back. Sometimes you get away with it if they don't notice it on the x-ray of your luggage, but sometimes not. It is better to not take the chance. Note that things like electric razors etc and other low consumption devices are totally Ok.
