We're planning our honeymoon. Planning a 9-10-night trip from Boston, with approximately a $5-10K budget (including flight, food, excursions). Google Flights tells me that we'll spend ~$1500 for the two of us to fly, so I assume we have up to $8500 for everything else, unless we find a package deal. Looking to start the honeymoon on Sept 16th (or soon after). Budget is flexible, the dates not so much.
Looking for a mostly beach vacation, with preference to interact with nature by taking a few walks through a rainforest and visit a waterfall or two. Would prefer to be waited on and pampered. We've had one island vacation together -- Maui in November -- which we loved. We'd go back in a minute, but we're looking for something on this coast, preferring to keep the flight a bit shorter.
Currently, we believe St Lucia is the best option for us.
Our typical vacation includes renting a car to visit other restaurants outside of our resort for lunch or dinner -- as a way to force us outside of our resort. I hear the roads are quite narrow/curvy, but not sure how that relates to Maui's road to hana or making the trip around the other side of the island (north of kapalua).
We could be convinced to split our 10-nights between two different hotels (i.e. 1 on the beach, 1 in the mountains?), but would certainly prefer to stay in St. Lucia for the whole trip. Any suggestions on which way to do it would be helpful.
Our hotel wish list:
* We require a place with at least one (better if more) restaurants.
* We'd prefer a hotel where they'd bring us drinks on the sand
* We'd prefer a room with a view, with a quick walk to the beach
* The more private/quiet, the better. Similarly, the more adults-only, the better.
* Customer service is important to us, as we're absolutely looking to be pampered. Luxury would be nice, but not necessary. Both would be ideal.
* Any private water feature (pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor shower) would be a bonus.
* Would prefer a room-only meal plan, so if it's all-inclusive we'll still probably travel to other restaurants outside of our resort.
* irrelevant: underwater sports (scuba, snorkeling) -- not our thing
Our current hotel choices (all within the price range) include:
Jalouise Plantation
Cap Maison
Ladera
Anse Chastanet
Ti Kaye
Hotel Chocolat
Landings St. Lucia
Based on our wishlist, do any of the above places appear to be a better fit? Are there any places I should add/remove from the list? How about splitting the trip between two hotels -- good/dumb idea? Any other suggestions?
Thanks very much in advance!

We stayed in Ladera a few years back, and it's really amazing. A wonderful hotel. The open air rooms are as awesome as they seem. Private, luxurious, with great service. The only thing it is lacking is a short trip to the beach--there is a shuttle, but because of the mountainside location it's not all that close.
On that same trip, we spent a week at a beachy hotel and then three nights at Ladera--it worked great, and we enjoyed the perks of each destination.
Have fun, we loved St. Lucia!
Unfortunately, it looks like Ladera is closed in September. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
