Honeymoon in St. Lucia

My fiance and I are planning to go to St. Lucia for our honeymoon in early Oct. Any suggestions as to where to stay? We heard the windjammer villa on the beach was very nice as well as a few others. Any suggestions would be apprecited. Also, any suggestions regarding the Carbiean for honeymoons would be great, we haven't booked anything yet.

This place is perfect for a honeymoon in St. Lucia, if you're looking for something more remote. We loved it. It was very romantic.

Here are some links to check out:

The only bad thing about Stonefield is it is somewhat remote but it is great. Windjammer Villas are closer in to Castries and to Rodney Bay, which has lots of dining/shopping options. The villas are nice, and the only drawback is that they cover a large hill side, so that you can be quite high and far from the beach. They offer shuttles which will be needed if you are in one of the higher up villas as the hillside is quite steep. The view is wonderful.

There are many other options in St Lucia as well, ranging from inexpensive to top end. Check out Ladera, Anse Chastenet, Body Holiday le Sport, Sandals has three resorts, Morgan Bay, and several others. St Lucia is a great place to vacation. Have a great honeymoon.

Another option might be TiKaye Hotel, still remote but nearer to Marigot Bay and Castries but not in such a stunning location as Stonefield or Anse Chastenet.

One more thing, if you do go to St Lucia and happen to stay close to Castries or are there be sure to dine at the Coal Pot - absolutely the best.

A little off track from the original question, but I agree with Curt. The Coal Pot is wonderful. Best lobster to date that I have had in the Caribbean. Great ambience as well.
