Honeymoon hotel for May 2013 (Turks and Caicos)

Hello everybody!!!

I am so happy I have found this forum.

I come from Spain, and here nobody knows a word about these lovely islands!!!

I am planning my honeymoon for the 27 May (I know it is quite early, but I am looking forward to it!!!), it will be a combination between New York and not a very touristy caribbean beach... That is why we chose T&C.

Now I would like to know which hotel would you recommend me considering:
Budget: about 1200€- 1500€ for 4 nights
beachfront (quite obvious)
intimate
maybe adults only or with not too many children
Quite modern.
With kitchenette
The distances are not a problem, as I think that we will rent a car...

Any recommendations???

Thank your so much for your help and sorry about my English!!!

My family is from Spain, your English is fine!

En hora buena!

May should have sales. I personally for the money love the luxury of West Bay Club. You may also want to check out Villa Renaissance, gorgeous and in your budget. Both are quiet, not many kids, have kitchenettes and are in your budget.

We stayed at Regent Palms on our honeymoon but, now stay next door at The Somerset, beautiful resort and location www.thesomerset.com Both resorts are great!

Gansevoort is very chic but above your budget, as is the Somerset and Regent Palms. If I converted correctly you're talking US $350 so I kept that in mind when making recommendations and getting the most luxury for your money

Thank you all for your responses... Yes, Blamona, I noticed that Somerset and Regent Palms are a bit over my budget...

And what do you think about renting a car? Do you think it is worth it? We would like to go to Taylor Bay and to some other secluded beaches (and obviously, to restaurants and the supermarket!!) That is why we decided to rent it...

And by the way, is May-June a good time to go there???

Thank you all for your help! I love this forum!!!

I always recommend a car, costs less than taxi. Especially if you choose WBC as the great restaurants require transportation. Short distances by car, and can explore.

WBC is next door to Gansevoort so you can still go play there too.

I've had good luck may and June. It can be hot, but you're at the beach.
