I'm getting married in May, my fiancée and I want to honeymoon somewhere in the Caribbean. We've been discussing Jamaica, Barbados or Bahamas. I want white sand, blue water, relaxing and possibly all inclusive. He wants flavor, sightseeing, excursion and touristy stuff. Need help deciding where to go for the best of both. Have seen lots of great feedback on here for where to go. Help, I'm running out of time and there's to much to choose from. Looking to spend around $3000-$4000 for 4 or 5 days. On the beach is a must! I have looked into sandals, couples and secrets resorts? Open to all suggestions, including additional destinations (do not want to go to Mexico). PS comfy bed needed. Thanks in advance for the feedback!

negril jamaica might be a good choice. seven mile beach is long & has white sand & several ai's. also has lots of local color & excursions by boat or inland to waterfalls, rum & coffee places, etc. you can walk the beach to go to lots of little bars, shops, places to eat. snorkel boats go from the beach.
tons of fun is to go up the cliffs area at the end of the beach to http://www.rickscafejamaica.com/index.php
for drinks, dinner, cliff divers & sunset
If you don't mind things a little rustic, Negril Jamaica is a lovely destination.
Is your budget inclusive of flights? Obviously the farther you go (Barbados) the more expensive flights will be. Sandals Negril is wonderful.
Aruba, very beautiful white sand beaches, very popular for honeymooners
I wouldn't recommend AI in Aruba. Just to many great restaurants and bars. Depending on where you are flying from, I don't think you can get an AI in Aruba with that budget. You will definitly get more bang for your buck in Mexico or Jamaica.
You'll get what you want on any of the islands you flagged & others beside. If you can get to Barbados, you have plenty of choices of AI. The more exclusive calm west coast is where the nicer properties are, but there are some nice properties on the south/south west coast eg where Couples Barbados will be but the sea is not as calm. You've already had some good suggestions, have you considered Sandals Antigua?
Depending on where you are flying from and what room catagory, I don't think you can get an AI in Barbados either with that budget. We've been looking for a couple of years now and no matter what time of year, the AI hotels start at $6,000 for 6 nights from our departure airport. Depending on your departure airport, you may can find a better deal. To me, it's also way too far to travel for just a 4-5night stay.
You'll find more lux resorts and get more out of them in Jamaica and Mexico with that budget.
I would start searching some on-line booking sites to see exactly what your can get for that budget. That will probably help with making your decision.
