Honeymoon
My fiance and I are currently deciding were to honeymoon, I have heard that Aruba has a fun nightlife and good actitivties during the day, the only think I am worried about is seclusion! Are there places in Aruba that are more secluded? When in Aruba, does it seem like there are a ton of people there?? Are the beaches and pools crowded?
We will be honeymooning in JUly. We are basically looking for a good balance between fun and privacy.

Bosco,
Thanks for your input... I did the research and that place looks wonderful. How far is it from the high-rise section, we are now thinking of splitting our time between the more secluded Bucuti Beach and a hotel in the high-rise section?

My boyfriend & I are vacationing to Aruba in September 2004 & staying at Bucuti. Check it out at www.bucuti.com. We chose Aruba b/c it is safe, is somewhat Americanized but has culture too, it is out of the hurricane belt & has good weather. Also, many restaraunts to chose from. We chose Bucuti b/c it is more private & geared toward adults & the Beach looks gorgeous. Good luck planning your honeymoon! Good websites are www.arubahouse.com or www.arubabb.com,

Hey..we stayed at the Bucuti this Spring..it is quiet and the beach is good ..but it is VERY QUIET. The service was good , room was good(stay in the Tara Suites), but again, it is VERY QUIET. I say this because I had gone thinking I really wanted peace and quiet but after a couple of days I would have loved a bit of music or SOMETHING.We ventured to the high-rise section a couple of times and really liked the Hyatt..too many kids though..it was Spring Break, however.Aruba has some fab restaurants , but overall, I must say the island was a bit sub-par compared to othes I have visited.Good things to do are day sails and anything water-oriented..AVOID THE ORGANIZED JEEP TOUR!

Its about 5 minutes by cab ...maybe a bit more. Its not hard to get to and there is certainly not alot to see on the way..but its cool once you get there. Its a totally different vibe..I really liked that section and it probably wont be as crowded if arent there during Spring Break. Honestly,I think my fiance liked this area a bit more than the Eagle Beach area..of course, being male, he has difficulty just sitting about on the the beach all day and the Hyatt enviroment offers lots to do....let me know if you have any more questions..
