Honeymoon
My wedding is September 2018, next year and I'm looking for a nice place for a honeymoon. I'm currently looking at Aruba and jamaica. I really don't want jamaica because I've been there twice but I'm still open to it.
Where in Aruba or jamaica can you recommend? I'm also open to other islands as well. Need some ideas. Hopefully all inclusive if not then that's ok. I'm also looking for a place with a lot of excursions and restaurants and a nice clear water beach. Preferably with not a lot of children.

September is peak hurricane season, so Aruba is a less risky choice that time of year then Jamaica (I'd still get trip insurance just in case). Good part of that is rates will be lower.
We have friends that enjoyed Bucuti on Aruba for their honeymoon:

"Flexible" for a budget doesn't help us narrow down suggestions since daily room rates in the Caribbean can range anywhere from around $250/night at a basic no frills hotel to upwards of $25,000/night for a private island resort like Necker Island.
So how much flexibility does your really have????

You can find that on just about any island in the Caribbean. Your request is way too broad. Maybe name some things that are the most important to you, and give an actual price range. "Flexible" doesn't help us help you.

I've been to the Caribbean several times during September and have never (so far) experienced rainy weather or hurricanes. My last visit to Grenada was in September and the weather was fantastic.
I probably would not chance it for a honeymoon though. If you still want to go and without knowing where you are travelling from, I'd suggest Bermuda (not Caribbean but a gorgeous place for a honeymoon)or Barbados.

While it's great that you finally have established a budget of 5K, we still have no idea what types of things are important to you.
What do you like to do?
What are things you can't live without?
What activities are must dos?
Give us a little more info and someone will be able to give you a much better recommendation. If nobody has any idea what your likes and dislikes are, all recommendations will just be shots in the dark.

Quoted from your original post. You have just described almost every island in the Caribbean to some extent.

I've never done any kind of water excursions and I would love to do it on my honeymoon. Zip lining and horseback riding would be great. I'm looking for an AI resort, if not then a place with a lot of different restaurants (nice food). I read that We wouldn't want and AI in Aruba because there are plenty of restaurants. We will be there for 5 days so I need things to keep us busy. I'm opening to trying different things. I'm also looking for something romantic with not a lot of children.

You have a good budget for an AI vacation somewhere very nice.
The top 3 places for AIs are Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Jamaica.
You said you are going in September which is smack dab in the heart of hurricane season. I would buy trip insurance no matter where you decide.
Best bet to avoid any hurricane activity would be Aruba, which you mentioned you had interest in.
I have not been there, but know there are many great resorts/hotels. I would not do AI there so you can try the many highly rated restaurants there.
You should be able to find just about every water sport there is. Not sure you will find zip lines on Aruba, but every thing else you mentioned is there.
Maybe someone else can chime in with actual hotel recommendations.

There are plenty of adult only AIs in Mexico. I suggested to stay with Aruba simply due to traveling during hurricane season.
With that budget, you can find a luxury AI in Mexico for a week, let alone 5 days....just depends on whether you want to chance hurricanes....
