History in Nassau

We will probably be in Nassau off a cruise ship sometime this winter. Kid is very, very excited and has been chattering away about various naval, colonial, and piratical historical incidents. I know there's a pirate museum near the cruise terminal, and I've visited the Cathedral and seen the displays in front of the government buildings. Anything else in the way of easily accessible history in walking distance?
