My husband and I were in Antigua a month ago for our honeymoon. We did not stay at Hermitage, but on our snorkling excursion, we picked up 2 couple from Hermitage. It looked incredible! All the bungalows perged on the side of the mountain...just looked very nice. Our guide did tell us that it was double the price of the place we were staying at and a little more calmer. We stayed at Galley Bay and would recommend it. We had no problems with finding lounge chairs at the beach or pool any time. The food was really good with 3 restaurant options (one that is not included in the all inclusive package). Nightlife was very quiet. Every nigth the resort had a local band play during dinner, bu t very quiet for the msot part. We stayed at the Gaugin cottage...htey have a private pool if you're looking for mroe privacy. They are not beachfront though.
Hope this helps a bit!
