HELP!!! Need to find best family resort in Caribbean. Club Med PC? Atlantis? Beaches T&C??? HELP!!!

Thanks SO much for reading my post! I am going to the Caribbean/Bahamas in the beginning of March with my 1 1/2 year old daughter, 2 stepdaughter ages 14 and 17 and my husband. We are looking for a great resort that is fun for all of us. My stepdaughters will LOVE huge, amazing pools, watersports etc. and my husband and I will appreciate a family atmosphere without drunk spring breakers, good food, comfortable accomodations and not getting sick! :~)
I have been recommended places like Club Med in Punta Cana, Atlantis, Beaches in Turks and Caicos, etc. What do you think? We are looking for an amazing time!
Thanks so much in advance, I am really overwhelmed by all the choices...

I have seen Beaches T & C and while the beach is spectacular, was not that impressed with the resort for the price and many reviews say the food is mediocre. Atlantis is probably your best bet out of your choices but the Bahamas may not have as warm weather as other destinations because it is really Florida weather. Also, Atlantis horrendously expensive (I know a family of four who spent $8,000 for a week and didn't even have a great room). Even if $ is no object, it seems like Beaches and Atlantis are rip-offs. One place my kids love is the Hyatt Hacienda Del Mar/Hyatt Dorado in Puerto Rico. It has a fun water slide and the "world's longest river pool" which is really great. Also, four golf courses, biking, tennis, water sports, five restaurants, camp Hyatt, a casino and a number of beaches. The HDM is the timeshare section and it is lovely two-bedroom condos which would be perfect for your family. Another place I would recommend is the Marriott Aruba Ocean Club/Surf Club (really three resorts in one) also condo accomodations and lots of activities. We are taking our kids there next fall. The beach in Aruba is beautiful, you can walk for miles. Another nice family destination is the Ritz Jamaica but the pool is nothing special and the beach not that great. It's a gorgeous property with great food, wonderful accomodations and fantastic service. Lots of families there last March when we were there. Many people will probably recommend the Four Seasons Nevis to you (haven't been there, it is on my wish list) but the pools are not fun pools and it is also very expensive in March.

Atlantis has the pools, water slides, aquariums, etc to keep your children entertained all day and then some. It's a huge resort with a lot of activities available. We booked through Liberty Travel and got a pretty good rate. The bigger travel agencies get some good package rates for Atlantis.

Atlantis is a must-see resort at least once is my opinion. We went there April 03 for Easter weekend. My boys are 14 and 9 and loved the pools , water slides and activities at the resoert. The rooms we had we fine. Do not book the beach towers if you do go, it is older and not as nice as the Coral towers. The Royal Towers is the place to stay.It is pricey and dining is fair to mediocre at best. There are some formal restaurants as well, not for baby tho and food in these is better , but not fantastic for the price. So , as long as you are aware it is more than other resorts on the island, accept that and you will have a great time. Weather in April was hot, pool and beach days the whole time we were there. Atlantis was awesome and I would go back.Friends of ours stayed at the Radisson in nassau, all-inclusive, kid-friendly, good pool aarea and they had a great time, so value for money would be A-I and food was nicer, but for entertainment value ,Atlantis is it.You can watch and feed the turtles, stingrays, see shows, just ambling around the resort at night is wonderful. Have a great time wherever you go.
