HELP Choosing Island

Jump to last reply

Family of four wants pristine and quiet beach out our front door -so to speak. Our kids are college age but do NOT want to be at a clothing-optional beach. St Marten appears to have beaches like we are looking for but many potentially nude ones that have us skeptical.

We loved St John many years ago but can't seem to find anyplace right on a sandy beach without having to walk far. Grand Cayman has great beaches but we have been there twice. We would like someplace a little more quiet and beautiful. Hence the attraction to St Marten. Is it possible to avoid the nude beaches on St Marten and still enjoy many beaches?

Anyone have some ideas for an island with beautiful beaches with little or no nudity? And for accommodations right on the beach? We are open to either a nice hotel (4+ stars - yet priced decently) or a condo/villa also on the beach that is decent.

Thx a ton!
