We finally pulled the trigger and are going to take advantage of the amazing rate we got for the Fairmont southampton during one of their sales. Looking for some new places to dine and was wondering if anyone has diner at Tucker's point and could give a review?

Trip Ideas
Hi emcash - can't help you with T.P. but if you haven't been here since Port O' Call was renovated -it's worth a visit. And the new sushi bar upstairs, Pearl, is great!
There are some reviews of the hotel which include comments on the restaurant on TA's site.
Two friends of mine went this weekend and had nothing but raves. They said the place was fabulous and the food was excellent. They also gave high marks on service (which is where most of the negative ratings are being given on TA). I look forward to trying it on my next visit. If you do go, please post a review.
Enjoy your trip.
thanks ladies- we can't wait to go back to Port o call- closed when we went last year. Will definitely try Tucker's Point and will post a trip report.
By the way, is Bleu still great?
I like Bleu very much. I hear good things about Beau Rivage at the Newstead so will be trying it on my next trip as well.
Have fun!
We really like Blu - the setting, the staff, the bar, the food - have not had a bad experience there. And I believe Newstead is running a free ferry from the waterfront area in Hamilton across the harbor on Friday nights for Happy Hour. We have a little one, so haven't had a chance to check that out yet, but I'm looking forward to it - drinks AND a free harbor ride? Sweet....
Ooooh - what about Mad Hatter's? Love it there too.....
i was looking forward to my birthday dinner at the newport room- so sad it wone be open
Emcash, did you visit Tucker's Point? As a hotel, did you note if it seemed worth $$$. Was the dining outstanding?? Any info is appreciated.
thanks

It looks pretty amazing- the only negatives on tripadvisor seem to be re service.
