Cruising to the Caribbean March 21st with family (kids 14&17). Stopping at Guadelope & Grenada for 8 hours in each port. Cruise ship excursions are limited to bus tours of the islands. We hate bus tours!!! Given the limited time, what's the best way to see Guadelope & Grenada? What, if any, are the must see... don't miss it places on these islands?
Guadelope & Grenada - what to see??

Guadeloup is gorgeous! Each beach is incredibly different. The most popular beach is Ste. Anne, otherwise known as Club Med. All are welcome, ask for the "common" way to enter the beach.
Up on the north east is St. Francois. This is a rougher sea, fun to body surf, but watch for the coral reef kind of place.
On the volcanoe mountain, there is an incredible waterfall. As well the beach on the southeast edge has black fine sand.
I was lead around by friends... people are very friendly! Have a great time!
