We will be in Grenada for a day and wanted to do a day tour which would include Grand Anse Beach and Grand Etang Rainforest and Lake. Anyone recommend a good tour operator? Any other suggestions where we should go to hike?

We took a tour with Chris Tours and were able to see many of the sights on the island. He is a very personable guide who provides an informative and affordable tour. We did two of his tours during our stay in Grenada. We went on a hike with him to the Seven Sister's waterfall and we did a day tour around the island. We saw a Rum Factory, Nutmeg processing plant, a chocolate processing plant, beautiful scenery and even some real estate for sale near a beach that we can dream of buying if we would ever win the lottery.
I'm sure he would arrange a private tour for you if you told him specifically what sites you want to see. Do a search for Chris Tours Grenada and you'll find his website. He does group tours and individual tours depending on your preference. Have fun in Grenada and wear bug spray!
There are several good tour operators - Chris Tours, Mandoo Tours, Caribbean Horizons, Sunsation, etc. The best place to hike is the Grand Etang rainforest - the tour operators will be able to recommend the best. The walk from the main bus route to Concord Falls is quite long - once you get there it is great - but you may wish to take a tour to this or one of the other falls - Annandale (which is is en route to the Grand Etang Forest).
