The best beachfront location I've ever enjoyed was at the Sheraton Kawai Hotel in Hawaii. The "Oceanfront" rooms do look directly over the ocean back about 50feet from the water. You can hear the waves crashing and smell the sea air. It's great.I joined the Sheratons internet frequent hotel club (free) and when I got to this hotel the room which I had booked for $ 269.00 per night was upgraded to an $ 800.00 a night suite on the top floor (4th) with 3 balconies. They also give you a 35% discount on all your food at the hotel and the food was fabulous. I don't guarantee they will upgrade you but the oceanfront rooms are beautiful for the price. We went in December for this price. Hawaii has pretty much the same weather year round so off season is great there and you can fly to either Maui or Honolulu and do a quick transfer to Kawai. It is a beautiful island also.

I am fairly new at this (but know enough not to use my real name, seems people can get quite aggresive in the forums). Can someone tell me what "t" or "tttt" means?
