I am going to Grand Cayman this month and would like to take a few days and travel to Cuba. Does anyone know if you can get there from the Caymans and how (boat or air).

Kristyn,
There are flights out of Grand Cayman to Cuba. Not sure which airline though. I know several people who have done this and they don't stamp your passport in Cuba if your American.
Hi Kristyn,
I live in Grand Cayman.
You could get to Cuba by boat, but it would only be by private arrangement and would cost the earth! You fly there using one of only two or three companies here that arrange flights to Havana and, I believe, another airport in Cuba.
The cost is usually between US$100-$150 for the roundtrip airfare, and the last time I checked, these companies did not take credit cards.
The flight is 45 mins one-way, and again, unless things have changed, don't expect air-condtioning on the plane.
If you would like more information or advice (a good friend of mine goes over there so many times, he's considered an honorary Cuban) please don't hesitate to write to me.
Vicki..
