It depends on what your looking for in a vacation. The Marriott is located on 7 Mile Beach. The Reef is located on the East End. About 30 minutes from Georgetown. Do you want to be in the middle of things or more secluded? You will probably need a rental car staying at The Reef. You can use public transit at any hotel on 7 Mile Beach for most everything.

They both offer AI plans if that is what you are looking for. Have you check their website for addtional info? Also check Trip Advisor for reviews and pictures.

For me, location would be the deciding factor.

I went in May of this year and I had a great time. We stayed at the Caribbean Club which was in the middle of 7 Mile Beach. The hotel and staff was great. It was easy access to different activities such as jetskiing and parasailing. There was a grocery across the street so we cook alot. Grand Cayman is expensive. We took the buses instead of taxis because they were cheaper when we wanted to go into Georgetown or to the Turtle farm. Here is the link http://caribclub.com/Pages/Default.aspx

The Grand Cayman Marriott has a club floor? I know the Ritz Carlton does, but was not aware the Marriott did as well.
