grand cayman/ anguilla/ antigua/ curacao honeymoon?

Jump to last reply

we are planning a late october honeymoon in the caribbean. we want a romantic spot with five star beaches and fine dining and a relative amount of activities. here are our thoughts so far:

grand cayman: awesome beaches, awesome snorkeling, good food and tons of activities (and safe) but maybe a little too family oriented for a honeymoon (lots of kids) and less luxurious/romantic hotels.

anguilla: awesome beaches, excellent dining, romantic, but maybe not very much to do and a little too quiet.

antigua:excellent beaches and food, rain forest and some nightlife, but not certain I'm sold on it.

curacao: outside the hurricane belt (good for october honeymoon), good snorkeling, nice weather, cool dutch culture/ shopping/ architecture but beaches and dining not quite as good as the previous 3 places I mentioned.(according to one travel book anyway).

thoughts?
