Grace Bay Beach.....where to stay?

After much research, we are planning our honeymoon and going to Turks and Caicos, in particular we would like to stay directly on Grace Bay Beach. Our budget is not to exceed $4,000 for 5 nights and we were hoping for all inclusive (not including flights) and we are seeing the all inclusive options are few. We would like beachfront.....so beachfront that you can walk to the beach from your room and hear the ocean. And great food as I mentioned in an earlier post. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

First, what time of year? Makes a huge difference.

Only 3 AIs on island, not really an AI kind of island. 2 are ut f your price range, and that's for garden view rooms not even beach VIEW. (definitely not ocean front)

Club med, while on your budget, not for everyone, and I wouldn't recommend for honeymoon. Rooms are like dorms, with little windows, no patio or balcony. Food is okay, and limited, unlike other islands that are made for AIs and give unlimited choices.

Beaches, out of your price range, and very family friendly. This is probably the closest to what most people think of for AIs, activities, 16 restaurants, water park, shops, etc.

Veranda is like an upscale Ritz, that happens to include meals and drinks. It's quiet so no activities, food is really good, but only 2 restaurants (same kitchen) with limited hours.

Overall Turks is an expensive destination. There's not a bad place to stay. Restaurants are amazing with gorgeous beachfront settings. But you have to pay for the luxury.

Are you stuck on AI? The above mentioned is above your budget and we are talking for garden rooms, no ocean view.

There are other places if willing to not do AI, or other islands known for AI in your budget, just not Turks.

What you get in Turks (and why you pay greatly for) is one of the most amazing beaches in the world.

Official "AIs" there not as good bookit.com for those
www.Iberostar.com for best upscale AI values on other islands
Provo is a small pretty hillygreen island the rest of the Turks are flat underwhelming but nice beach.

In your budget couples.com Swept Away Negril might be
better or Excellence puntacana.com better price points
mre to do greener prettier.

booking.com luxurylink.com for deals usually not on Provo.

Congrats!

We love AI's and have been to many, but when we went to T & C it was not a feasible option. We stayed at the Sibonne. Not sure you would want it for a honeymoon because it is not lux, however we liked it because it was small and intimate. Only 26 rooms and no activities for children. Nice restaurant on site and direct access to the beach. There is a Premier beachfront catagory and a beach front apartment, which may meet your budget criteria. Check out their web-site.

T & C generally has more condos type accomendations than general hotels. Definitely rent a car to get around.

A Veranda garden view would still mean you have a honeymoon quality place that is very close to the beach, and still give you the AI you want. Otherwise, for a non AI we like Ocean Club West overall

Agree with comments that T&C is not a AI type location. I'd spend the money on the room with a kitchenette, have lunch and breakfast in the room then do your spend on the dinner. If you want air in the $4k, then going to be a tough budget to make.

When I go to T&C I always stay at the West Bay Club in an oceanfront luxury room. Going back in February - so excited!

Our favorites are on the more central location of Grace Bay Beach.
Somerset
Regent Palms
Point Grace
Centrally located, great beach frontage, no sea grass, walkable to many dining venues.
Works well for us and you can get along without a car.

T&C is very nice, if honeymoon you might like to stay at the far end of Grace Bay. West Bay Club is very nice, on the beach and away from noise and large groups of people. AI is not a smart on T&C because there are many fine choices for dining. Rent a car or hire a car to bring you out in the evening, its your honeymoon and the only safe variety remains dining selections. Congrats!
