Hey folks
me (50) and 6 year old son are in st kitt's one day off cruise ship. would like to golf 9 holes and play in the sand. Need advice on logistics. First time cruiser so don't know the ins/outs of getting back on/off ship. Royal st kitts golf club seems to be the only golf correct? How to best get around? What beach? Marriott?

My husband did this off a cruise two years ago. Royal St. Kitts is the only golf course as far as I know and is worth playing. He said it's worth playing all 18, however, as the best holes on the ocean are on the back 9 and it usually isn't that crowded (compared to U.S.) so you can bring son along on the cart, play 18, and he'll see some good scenery. Took a cab from the cruise dock to the Marriott. While he golfed I stayed at the Marriott beach and nobody hassled me about using a chair. Marriott has a great beach for St. Kitts (not known as a great beach island). p.s. love the name.
