We're leaving for Bonaire in three weeks. What can anyone tell me about the Divi Flamingo Resort or anything else we must do while there. Please add any insights on snorkeling and diving, as that is our priority for this trip!

I stayed at the Divi in late Nov - I thought it was fine. Has recently been remodeled, and there is some work still going on there, but it doesn't disturb you - they only work in the daytime, and it is all manual work so no cranes, jackhammers, etc. 2 very nice pools and a great dive shop onsite. You can go out on the boats or dive right off the pier. Divi has a small beach, but in Bonaire, small beaches are all there are. You are just a 5-6 minute walk from Kralendijk and several good restaurants, and it is safe to walk, even at night. There are some meal packages that you might be interested in, including buffet breakfast and a few dinners but no true all-inclusive plan anymore.
Overall, I am looking forward to going back to this resort. If there is something specific you would like answered rather that just general impressions, go ahead and email me. You could also do a search of the archives at www.scubadiving.com - they are a VERY opinionated group, but somebody has always been someplace recently.
