Hello! I am thinking of getting married at an all inclusive resort in Cuba. Does anyone have any suggestions of resorts that are good? Also, I hear that it is quite difficult to get married in Cuba - does anyone have any information on the marriage requirements (translation, etc)?
Any info is greatly appreciated!

Hi! Check either Alba Tours, Sunquest, etc and look at resorts such as the Sol Melia Rio de Oro we stayed at this one and it's very nice), or Superclubs Breezes Costa Verde (both in Guardalavaca Holguin). This last resort in the Alba Tours book mentions Free Weddings (except fees applied by the Cuban consolate for official documentation).
Check Sunquest's website at www.sunquest.ca
Janell,
Drop me an e-mail. My wife & I were married in Cuba at the SuperClubs Breezes Varadero in Oct/98, and wasn't as difficult as you may think.
Also, try the "signature.ca" website in the Cuba section - at the bottom they list the necessary steps (although with very little detail).
Hope to hear from you.
Tim
